• Used to add texture
Rudimental Composition
• Rudiments are crated by combing 2 or more of the 3 basic strokes
Basic to complex, all rudiments are like this

The “Paradiddle”
• Rudiment made up of two single strokes, and one double stroke
R+L+RR L+R+LL = Paradiddle
The “Flam Five”
• Advanced Rudiment• Combination of a 5 stroke roll and a flam
