No care facilities in the village; residents depend on facilities in Kollum and more specialized care facilities in Dokkum / homecare nurses visit patients at home
Ageing → more and more people need care in the nearby future Young people move away to larger cities for better employment

Goals formulated by the workgroup care: •Reduce loneliness and anxiousness•Provide more independency for older people in their own village by using telehealth care applications•Introduce a system facilitating neighborly help (consistent with local project “Graach Dien”) through village portal•Improve the structure of medicine-delivery (in coöperation with the pharmacy)
