Channelization is a multiple access method in which the available bandwidth of the link is shared in time, frequency or through code between different stations.

Eg:- Frequency Division Multiple Access – FDMA Time Division Multiple Access – TDMA Code Division Multiple Access – CDMA

Random Access means each station has the right to the medium without being controlled by any other station.

Eg: ALOHA Slotted ALOHA CSMA/CD CSMA/CA

Control access means the stations consult one another to find which station has the right to transmit.

Eg: Reservation Polling Token Passing
