Let d be the diameter of pipe to pass the design dischargethrough the power conduitTaking diameter of pipe as diameter 1.45 meters

Area = 3.142*d^2/43.142 *d

Hydraulic radius = d/4Velocity of flow = V = 1/n*r^2/3* s ^1/2Value of n= 0.011 S = 300

By trial and error method

Diameter of pipe = 1.34 m

Velocity of water = 2.51 m/sec
