About the Production TeamAbout the Production Team Jim Strickler (Harold J. Mullins) Jim has been with SSC since 2010 first appearing in it’s production of Our Town, and continues to be part of the company family today. He has appeared in nine differ-ent productions, and has also assisted Linda Boozer with SSC Children’s Workshop Productions and education programs. He is proud to be part of the company and feels that the theater is in his blood! Beth Sturgis (Sally Simpson) This is Beth’s fourth show with SSC; the most recent being Baby in the beginning of 2014. In addition to those shows and ushering many more, you may have seen her as a costumed character at Hersheypark. As if perform-ing in a show and being a dancing candy bar weren’t enough, she’s also a substitute teacher and planning her wedding for next year (to Kent Gable, who is Buzz in our show). Merry Christmas to all! Steven Sturgis (William St. Claire) Steve Sturgis is a veteran at SSC, having performed in shows from The Music Man through this year’s produc-tion of Baby. His days are filled with mathematics, tutor-ing students at Thaddeus Stevens College and volun-teering in math classes at Donegal Junior High School. He sings with the Lancaster Red Rose Barbershop Chorus and the barbershop quartet, “4 PM Curfew”. The thea-ter is a family activity, with wife Debbie helping with cos-tumes and daughter Beth on stage (in this show in the role of Sally). Unlike William St. Claire, Steve is a holiday person and wishes everyone a wonderful holiday sea-son.

About the Production TeamAbout the Production Team Christy Naples (Esther Lewis Pirnie) Christy Naples is thrilled to be working with Susquehanna Stage Company again. Previous experience includes Baby at SSC and Reefer Madness at Little Theatre of Me-chanicsburg. When she's not at the theater, Christy is loving her life as a high school English teacher and a new yearbook advisor. A huge thank you to my stu-dents for keeping my inspiration fresh, to the cast and crew for giving me a place to explore my dreams, and to my husband, family, and friends for always reminding me what love feels like. Nick Roden (“Little” Jackie Sparks) Jason Spickler (Charles “Cholly” Butts) Jason is happy to return to an on-stage role here at SSC, having previously appeared in productions as Max in The Sound of Music and Charlie Brown in You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown. He is a founding member of the Susquehanna Stage Co. and served as the Administra-tive Director of the organization for six years. In addition, he has directed the SSC productions of Willy Wonka, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, Urinetown (co-directed with Kevin Krum), and Annie, and has served as the mu-sical director and/or orchestra conductor for several of SSC’s musical productions. Thank you to our ever-growing SSC “family” and community for their contin-ued support of live, local theater in Marietta!

Business PatronsBusiness Patrons About the PlayersAbout the Players Steve Hassinger (Fritz Canigliaro) James Landis (Clifton Feddington) This show concludes Jim’s fourth season performing at the Susquehanna Stage Company, however, Jim is hardly a newbie to the theater. His resume covers nearly four dec-ades and over forty productions. His first appearance at SSC was as mobster Big Jule in Guys and Dolls in 2011. This was followed by the roles of the evil executive Caldwell B. Cladwell in Urinetown and our founding father Benjamin Franklin in 1776. His most recent appearance on the SSC stage was as the villainous Captain Hook in this summer’s lively production of Peter Pan. When not appearing on stage, Jim is often supporting SSC productions from be-hind the scenes by working the box office, building sets, or running the lighting board. Derek Martin (Toots Navarre)

About the PlayersAbout the Players Niki Boyer Swatski (Margie O’Brien) In this space normally reserved for a biography, Niki would like to use this opportunity to gratefully thank every single man and woman who has served, or are currently serving in a branch of the US Military. Your commitment to keeping our country safe while sacrific-ing your time away from your own families is one of the greatest gifts you can give to your fellow man. Niki is especially proud of her father, Walter H. Boyer for his time served in the US Navy, and her husband, Brian Swatski, for serving in the United States Marine Corps. Merry Christmas to all, come home soon, and thank you for your service. Kent Gable (Isadore “Buzz” Crenshaw) This is Kent’s third show with SSC; the most recent show being Peter Pan this past summer as Wendy’s flyer/stage crew. In addition to those shows and ushering many more, Kent works as a take-off Technician for Brubacher Excavating and is planning his wedding for next year (to Beth Sturgis, who is Sally in our show). Merry Christmas to everyone! Kara Hartman (Judith Davenport) Kara is a lighting technician at Sight & Sound Theatres, but she finds just as much magic on the smaller stages of community theatre. Past roles include: Luisa (The Fan-tasticks), Hope Cladwell (Urinetown), Annabel Glick (Lucky Stiff), Grace Farrell (Annie), and Mrs. Darling (Peter Pan). A transplant from Maine, Kara found a theatre home at SSC five years ago, and has met some of her closest friends here. In addition to singing in her church's choir, she dabbles in creative writing and Irish dance, and is enjoying a renewed interest in crochet.
