Is it safe?
• In 2014 Edward Snowden revealed that the masses are being digitally spied on.
• In the spring of 2015 Slovenia was shaken by Tetra affair.• In autumn 2015 the Balkans experienced the Eikonal scandal.
Who will help the user?
• People do not know who to turn to. • The big word is still #security and not #privacy.• There is no government or EU grant for these kinds of activities.
Who is there to help?
• Telecoms are not chartered for this type of consultation.• The state does not sponsor such activites in the NGO sector.• The majority of companies focus on the business #security
sector.
Let‘s do it ourselves!
• Step 1: Bring together experts and let them talk to the community.
• Step 2: Develop a single point of online contact. • Step 3: Popularize the concept of #privacy, not just #security.
