Reiki 1 Certification Class: Using Energy Work in Human Service Practice

This class is for individuals in human service professions who wish to learn how to use/provide Reiki Energy Healing in conjunction with their current therapy practice in physical, emotional and/or spiritual health. It is appropriate for counselors, social workers, mental health practitioners, addiction counselors, doctors, nurses, clergy, physical therapists, massage therapists and any individual who provides therapeutic and healing services/arts.

Course Objectives:

• Learn the basic principles and techniques of Reiki 1

• Learn how the core principles of Reiki apply to human service practice

• Review of Reiki research as it applies to physical and emotional health

• Provide supervised practice of Reiki treatments on self and others

• Receive Reiki Certification

• Learn the ethical and legal considerations for practicing Reiki

11:15 - 11:30 a.m. Chakras and Their Relationship to Healing Energy – How to Read

11:30 - 11:45 a.m. Break

11:45 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. Attunements to Reiki Energy

12:15 - 1:00 p.m. Supervised Practice in Reiki Self-treatment

1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Lunch

2:00 - 2:30 p.m. Demonstration of Counseling Session with Reiki

2:30 - 3:30 p.m. Supervised Practice Sessions

3:30 - 3:45 p.m. Break

3:45 - 4:00 p.m. Ethical and Legal Considerations

4:00 - 4:45 p.m. Continued practice

4:45 - 5:00 p.m. Wrap-up
