Stellar was established in London in 1999 to provide an independent ac-quisition and divestment service to companies with oil and gas assets in the North Sea. Early success with North Sea transactions rapidly lead to requests from clients to extend
our service outside the North Sea.
Today Stellar offers a worldwide service to upstream oil & gas compa-nies although the North Sea remains
a significant part of our activities.
Stellar has successfully completed
over 70 mandates around the world, attracting total funding of several billion dollars for its clients. These successes have resulted in Stellar establishing a worldwide network with upstream decision makers. Stellar’s clients range from small

Stellar offers two main services to
companies wishing to acquire up-
stream oil and gas assets:
Proactive Acquisition: the deliber-
ate search for assets/companies
that meets the client’s requirements
followed by evaluation of the assets/
company, preparation and submis-
sion of an offer, and negotiation of a
sale and purchase agreement;
Auction support: for a public offer-
ing, organisation and management of
evaluation of the assets/company,
analysis of competitive pricing, sub-
mission of a competitive offer, and
negotiation of a sale and purchase
agreement.
