Computer Science: Designing Technology Solutions (Honors)
This course provides an introduction to engineering design and development with a focus on software engineering through the use of two computer-‐programming languages: -‐Alice and Java In addition, students will develop an understanding of the “designed world” and technology. Topics will include: -‐ Energy and power -‐ Construction -‐ Manufacturing -‐ Communication
After the completion of the class the students will have satisfied their technology education credit requirement, if not satisfied already.
