Commonwealth day

It is celebrated on the second Monday in March every year. Each year, a theme for Commonwealth Day is chosen. In 2012, the theme is “Connecting Cultures”.

Commonwealth Day is an opportunity to promote understanding on global issues, international co-operation and the work of the Royal Commonwealth Society, which aims to improve the lives of its citizens.
