Primary Colors
• The Primary Colors are
• Red, Yellow and Blue

Secondary Colors
• The secondary colors are
• Orange, Green, and Purple
• They are made from the PRIMARY
COLORS
Complementary Colors
• A primary color and the color directly across
from it on the color wheel.
• When used together they will compliment
each other to the maximum
• Red and Green
• Blue and Orange
• Yellow and Violet
Analogous Colors
• Are sets of 3 to 5 adjacent colors on
the color wheel
• Yellow, yellow-orange, orange-red,
red
• Red, Red-violet, violet, blue-violet,
blue
Monochromatic
• A color scheme that involves one
color and its tint or shade.
• Tint- A color combined with varying
intensities of white
• Shade- A color combined with
varying intensities of black

What Table Jobs are there?
1. Paint Person Task: Will get 2 watercolor color
containters
2. Water Person Task: Will get 4 ounces of water
for their table.
3. Apron Person Task: Will get aprons for people at
their table.
4. Table Person Task: Will get paper towels for table
and wipe table at end of class
What should be in your water cup
1.8 clean Brushes: 4 Flat
and 4 Round
2.No Water
How will you clean your brush?
Step 1: Wipe off any extra paint on
paper towel
Step 2: Put in water cup and swirl
around at bottom of cup
Step 3: check that is clean and wipe
off on paper towel

• In the sink at the front of the room
