CLW Employee Training Program Procedure
PROCEDURES
1. Community Living Windsor will provide workshops and appropriate educational opportunities through invited speakers as well as other educational and training opportunities needed to strengthen workers’ values, knowledge and skills as part of their overall work responsibilities.
2. Training provided by Community Living Windsor will be made available in an accessible format upon request.
3. Employees should notify their Manager of their ongoing training needs and skill development.
4. The Manager, Support and/or Manager, Learning and Development will arrange for the training and/or education of employees and/or volunteers by providing information when available or utilizing existing community educational resources whenever possible.
5. The Manager, Support will inform the Operations Director of unmet training needs.
6. The Operations Director will allocate available training resources on a priority basis.
7. All CLW employees are required to review the Policies and Procedures and the Health and Safety Policies and Procedures as assigned on SOP Tracker.
8. All CLW employees are required to complete all assigned training modules and any accompanying quizzes on SOP tracker, and also attend any scheduled training sessions.
