Closing Statement PlaintiffMay it please the court, opposing counsel. We have heard today testimony in the case of the Estate of
Simone Langston vs. Lefu Harrison. We understand that we have the burden of proof. We the Plaintiff believe
that we have shown through the preponderance of evidence that Dr. Lefu Harrison is guilty in this instance. We first heard form Avery Langston, the devastated daughter of Simone Langston. Avery, who is a
dedicated mother, lived with her mother Simone. She was shocked, and horrified when Simone was first
admitted into the hospital due to a hit and run accident. However, once in the hospital tragedy struck, when it
was discovered that Simone had advanced cancer, and probably didnt have much time. After Simone was put
onto her chemo regimen, Avery continued to visit, but had to constantly refuse offers of money from a soliciting
Dr. Harrison. Claiming it would take a lot more than money to fix their situation, Lefu misconstrued her words
as a demand for more money, and attacked Avery. Avery was then unfairly banned from the hospital except for
visiting hours, and missed much ofher mothers decay. After her mother died, she received a check for
$200,000, a result of a false agreement made by Dr. Harrison and Simone. The last point Id like to bring up wit
Avery is her utter hatred for Lefu; theres no way that this woman would have been able to ever come to an
agreement with Dr. Harrison, especially regarding money or Simone Langston.Dr. Tabor Caget appeared as the role of a hero. Dr. Caget encouraged Simone to join his chemo
regimen. This man gave Simone those crucial extra days of life that Simone used to properly say goodbye to her
family. However, Dr. Caget has come under a significant amount of fire from the opposing counsel for not
caring about the patient as much as his chemo regimen. This couldnt be farther from the truth. Dr. Caget is so
dedicated to cure patients of cancer that he will stop at nothing until there isnt a single cancerous cell in their
body. This isnt apathy, its dedication. This dedication also includes an overlooking of any financial woe that
might befall a patient. This man is curing cancer; can you really put a price on human life?Lastly, we heard from Dr. Farley Davis. Dr. Davis is the resident physiatrist at United General
Hospital. She is a dignified doctor who is well established in her field and prides herself on helping to develop
the religious policy at United General Hospital, which has helped most everyone involved. Dr. Davis was
responsible for administering the Mini Mental State Examination, in which Simone scored a 25 out of a possible

30, falling within the competency zone. Dr. Davis told us about the MMSE as a well-established benchmark in
the psychiatric community. He also said that Dr. Harrison is a doctor that is not well suited to the community at
United General, by taking liberties, and cutting corners. Lastly, Dr. Davis told us about the unreliability of the
MoCA test. The opposing counsel brought forth a slew of witnesses, all of whom shared a very simple common
denominator: Being paid off by Lefu Harrison. First was Nurse Gopi Anandganda. A nurse, who conveniently
enough, also goes to the temple that Simone attended. After receiving a glowing recommendation from Dr.
Harrison, she left United General, and now works elsewhere. Gopi maintains a mouse in the corner appearance
throughout the duration of these events. However, I dont think the court can take her account of the events
seriously for a few reasons. Firstly, she was paid off by Lefu Harrison. He handed her a $500 check for just
hearing a story. Secondly, Gopi is only here today to repay her old boss. A glowing recommendation and $500
would have me back in court too. Lastly, theres a piece of Gopis story that just doesnt fit. Avery told us that
Simones life was in the temple. Why was it then, that Gopi had to tell Simone about the obligation of
Gerimondlan, or healing the world? We have multiple sources saying that Simone was dedicated to her religion,
but only the one for Gopi.Next, we heard from Quincy Ebardiar. Dr. Davis said he had a lot of respect for the good Doctor, but
was available for the right price. Dr. Ebardiar likes to use the new and vastly untested Montreal Cognitive
Assessment. Furthermore, the Doctor administered this test on a Sunday afternoon, where the staffing in the
hospital is at its lowest, and there would be little opposition to stop him. Dr. Ebardiar cannot be counted as
credible because he refused to accept general rules of engagement regarding patient mental competency.Lastly, we heard from the head of the hydra, Dr. Lefu Harrison. Dr. Harrison might come off as a hard
working, honest person, but be fooled not. Now running a national company with nearly $56 Million in capital,
Dr. Harrison has a lot to lose here today. Nevertheless, if we look objectively, we see the many flaws in his
statement. Firstly, he was responsible for paying Nurse Gopi and Quincy Ebardiar off. This alone would ruin the
objective credibility of those two witnesses, not to mention that Dr. Ebardiar had a personal vendetta against Dr
Davis, and Gopi disliked Dr. Caget. Furthermore, Lefu proved to be rash. He was the instigator of the fight in

Simones room. We cannot believe what Dr. Harrison says because of the substantial amount of evidence that
describes him as not credible. We have heard here today testimonies in the case of the Estate of Simone Langston vs. Lefu Harrison.
Though we the plaintiff understand that we have the burden of proof, we know that through the preponderance o
evidence, we have shown the liability of Dr. Harrison. We implore you to consider things from every angle, and
remember the life of sweet Simone Langston.
