CLASS OF 1975

Dear Classmates,
Well, Fall is definitely here and the
beautiful colors line the streets in Culver and on
campus. For those of us who live in areas that
are almost constantly one season, enjoy the
pictures.
Fall also means football. Culver Eagles
advanced to Sectionals, eventually falling to
Garret who claimed the title. One of the
defensive linemen is our scholar, Amari. Since
football ended, Amari has switched gears to the
varsity basketball team. So, along with
academics, he is having a very busy year!

Class News Becky Burton traveled to Japan as a chaperone for a student tr ip and came back with a
beautiful kimono from her host family. In July, Becky headed to Bali for a cooking class and some
memorable sightseeing.
Mark and Sandee Simon welcomed a grandson, Bennett
Alexander Simon on June 1. Bennett is the son of Matt and Sarah Simon
and little brother of Tilly.
Beau Matthews became a grandfather on July 8 with the ar r ival
of Andrew Jansen Matthews. Andrew reports that Beau is great babysitter!
Paul Morrow gained a daughter in law when his son, Chr is, Co.
B, 2006, married Cara in May.
Pam Fox and her husband, Doug, are pet parents to feline
children, Pat and Daniel, who joined their family in June.
Carrie Hayden and her family enjoyed some time at Disneyland
in July.
Beau Matthews in his new
role as Chief Babysitter.

Thomas Mayo had a nice vacation in the Dominican Republic with some cousins in
August. He followed that up with a trip to Nantucket in September to visit with his college
roommate. Several lobsters contributed to his enjoyment of the trip.
Danny Osborn celebrated his sixtyteenth birthday on October 23 with assistance from
Thomas Mayo, Steve Kime, John Benson, David Stinnett, and Dan Segal. (No police
reports.)
Dan Segal and his Big Daddy's Backyard Original BBQ Sauce won second place in the
Gettin' Sauced! Bottled Contest held in Austin, Texas while he was in Culver, celebrating Oz's
birthday.
The Osborn family is honored by a hole
sponsorship on the course.
Connie Carter enjoyed a few days in Scotland
in July to celebrate an engagement and also had a
private tour of the White House.
Russ McKenney's son, Reeves, has started his
first class year at CMA and Tom Hartman's daughter,
Emily, is a senior at CGA.
Doug Cook and his wife, Sara, enjoyed a belated
honeymoon in Hawaii.
