nal Alkynes: Selective Synthesis of Unsymmetrical Buta-1,3-diynes and 2-Ethy-nylbenzofurans. — A novel approach for the highly selective synthesis of unsymmet-rical diynes is developed through Pd-catalyzed coupling/elimination of terminal al-kynes with (E)-1,2-diiodoalkynes.
