What are the requirements for this course?
English requirements
In this course, you will need to read
comprehensive learner workbooks and
textbooks, undertake a range of written
assessments and independent research
activities, and engage in classroom or online
discussions.
Entry requires the successful completion of
Year 10 level English. If you have not achieved
this, you can demonstrate this knowledge by
completing our pre-course commencement
Literacy, Language and Numeracy assessment.
Skill requirements
Students will require some basic computing
skills to complete this course successfully. This
includes:
• Accessing and searching the internet
• Downloading and saving documents from
websites
• Uploading documents through websites
• Participating in online discussions
• Creating, saving and editing Microsoft O�ce

There are no formal education prerequisites for this course. But Mathisi does prefer that you have
completed Certificate II in Business or industry experience in business support roles prior to
enrolment.

Operate point-of-sale equipment, apply store policy and procedures to a range of transactions, interact with customers and package an item for transportation.
Promote loyalty programs (SIRXCCS203)
Develop a loyalty program by identifying regular and new repeat customers, including customer eligible for specific loyalty programs.

Apply specialist or general product knowledge and experience in o�ering advice to customers.
Deliver and monitor a service to customers (BSBCUS301B)
Identify needs and monitor service provided to customers, using technical advice and support either in short or long-term interaction.

Operate a variety of retail equipment, from identifying the right equipment for a task and maintaining this equipment to applying keyboard skills and operating data entry equipment.

Learn how to receive and process incoming goods, and rotate and dispatch goods.

Gain the skills and knowledge to handle formal and informal feedback and complaints from customers, using discretion and judgement to provide knowledge of products, customer service systems and organisational policies to provide technical advice and support.
