The Girls Network
Mission:to inspire and empower girls by connecting them with a network of positive female role models.
My journey so far:
•Was I the kind of person they were looking for?
•How would I know what to do?
•Who / how would I be mentoring?
•And now…….?
School Governors
Have you ever wanted to get behind the information you hear on the news
about school performance?
Do you want to make a difference to young people and learn more about your local community?
Do you like a challenge?
Do you want to develop your strategic business skills whilst
giving something back to education?
What does a School Governor Look Like?
Every governing body needs a mix of different backgrounds, skills and experience.
Transferable job-related skills are valuable, but not essential - having enthusiasm, commitment and a willingness to ask questions is just as important.
And you don't have to have children either……
