SALARY £17,883 - £18,887

HOURS 30 – 37.5 hours

RESPONSIBLE TO Finance Director and Accountant

PERSON SPECIFICATION

1. Conscientious individual who is committed to operate with a high level of accuracy.

2. Proven administration experience.

3. Proven experience of using administration databases to a high standard.

4. Preferably to be educated to ‘A level’ standard or equivalent.

5. Demonstrate excellent I.T. skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)

6. Ability to time manage own workload effectively, promoting a positive culture.

7. Have a flexible approach to the task and resilience under pressure.

8. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills; verbal, non-verbal and

written

9. Be reliable, enthusiastic, creative and honest

10. Demonstrate a commitment to equal opportunities and anti-oppressive practice

11. To challenge attitudes and practices that can be perceived as discriminatory

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. To assist in the administration of a large variety of tasks including purchase ledger,

reconciling credit card, fuel card and trade accounts and filing.

2. To assist in making and checking purchase payments in a timely manner.

3. To undertake various month end and other finance duties.

4. To assist with various year end finance duties.

5. To manage your own workload effectively ensuring that all tasks are fulfilled by required

deadlines.

6. To manage own personal and continuous professional development through self-

assessment, supervision, training, and the acquisition of different learning opportunities.

7. To be a positive advocate for Fair Ways and represent the company in a professional and

competent manner.
