Why:Motoroillubricatesandcoolsyourcar’sengine.Iftheoilislowordirty,theengineheatsup,whichmakesitwearoutfasterandputoutmorepollution.

What to do:Checkyourowner’smanualtofindouthowoftentochangeyouroilandwhatkindofoiltouse.Ageneralguidelineistochangeyouroileverythreemonthsorevery3,000miles,whichevercomesfirst.

Tips:Oilcanberecycledand

re-used.Buyoraskforre-refinedoilwiththeAmericanPetroleumInstitute(API)symbolonthecontainer.
