We are delighted that you are looking to hold a canapé and drinks reception at
Burghley House. Absolute Taste is renowned for beautifully styled, fabulous food and
our food is the most important thing we do. Every element of our canapés are
intricately styled and carefully designed by our chefs, combining delicious flavours,
textures and trends.
ABSOLUTE TASTE
Absolute Taste is one of the leading catering and event design companies and in
October 2013, Absolute Taste was awarded the inaugural Event Caterer of the Year
at the Food Service Catey Awards for its bespoke approach and dedication delivering
stunning food and service.
Fabulous food is the most important thing we do. We are committed to preparing
delicious food using only the freshest ingredients from our trusted suppliers, many of
whom are local to Burghley House.
The principle that guides our decisions is simple: all of our food is expertly prepared
by our chefs using only the highest quality ingredients. We have built relationships
with fantastic suppliers allowing us to have access to the best produce from the
market. Our chefs’ skills and creativity ensures that our menus are delicious, inspiring
and well-balanced whether they are preparing elegant canapés or a lavish evening
dinner.

Vivacious ruby red colour tending to garnet with ageing. Intense

A striking and vivid red colour with several punnets worth of red
berry fruit on the nose and palate. Soft and fresh with light ripe

Fruity Californian chardonnay with ripe melon, peach and red

A fragrant and refreshing aromatic wine, with white fruit and
acacia flower aromas, round and slightly creamy in the mouth
with a delicate “smoky” tint.
