As you've learned, we develop a "sense of place" through experience and knowledge
of a particular area. This becomes very important as you begin to ask questions and uncover why decisions in history are made the way they are. This activity will extend your understanding of place in
history and focus specifically on Vincennes and Grouseland, the home of former
President William Henry Harrison.
