Who We Are
Caregiver Volunteers of Central Jersey (CVCJ) is a non-profit, interfaith organization which provides supportive services to the frail elderly, veterans and the homebound enabling them to live independently with dignity in their own homes. CVCJ provides services to 23 municipalities within Ocean County and a number of Monmouth County communities.
What We Do
Round trip medical transportation Grocery Shopping Friendly Visits & Phone Calls Caregiver Canines® - in-home therapy dog visits Alzheimer’s Respite Care Program – weekly 2-3 hour volunteer
in-home visits to allow the caregiver some time off Connection Thru Music-intergenerational music program
Veteran to Veteran –veteran volunteers for all services Multicultural Outreach – bilingual staff members and volunteers
Services are offered free of charge by CVCJ volunteers who are thoroughly screened to ensure safety.
