Enabling SurfLink Media in Inspire 1. Click on Wireless/Accessories on the left navigation bar
2. Check the Enable SurfLink Media box
Ø Enable the SurfLink Mobile or SurfLink Remote to allow for manual Start/Stop of
Audio Stream
Ø If enabling the SurfLink Remote, enter the SurfLink Remote Address (located on
the back of the SurfLink Remote) into the Sync hearing aids dialog box and click Sync
3. Enable Streaming per memory via the checkbox
Ø If unchecked, streaming via the SurfLink Media is not available in that memory
Ø SurfLink Mobile still provides Surround, Focus, Wired or Bluetooth streaming at programmed attenuation level
4. Set the Hearing Aid Microphone Setting While Streaming in each active memory
SurfLink Media Back View 1. Offers a variety of A/V connection options:
Ø Standard: RCA jacks
Ø Optional: Microphone, S/PDIF, Optical TOSLINK
2. Ensure the Monaural/Binaural selection switch is positioned
appropriately
Ø If fit monaurally, select the monaural position
Ø If fit binaurally, select the binaural position
3. Connect power supply
Ø A micro-USB power cable is supplied. Insert the micro-USB connector into the Power port on the SurfLink
Media and connect the opposite end to the power outlet.

SurfLink Media User Controls 1. Press on the power button
2. Adjust the streaming activation range to set the distance where a
streaming session begins
3. Set the volume control of the audio device to a level that is comfortable
for the person without hearing loss
4. Set the volume control of the SurfLink Media to a level that is comfortable
for the person with the hearing aids
5. Adjust the volume level as needed using the SurfLink Remote
