THEFT DELAYS NEW
EXHIBITION AT MUSEUM
The much anticipated new series of
exhibitions at the University Exhibit
Museum has been delayed until next week
due to an unforeseen problem with a
missing artifact. Dr. Robert Gladding,
Junior Curator at the museum, spoke to our
reporter yesterday. He confirmed that at
least one of the new artifacts, on loan from
the Boston Heritage Center, has
disappeared.
At first it was suspected that the artifact
had been misplaced, but on examination of
the entire consignment from Boston the
Police were notified. Gladding said,
“Although theft is unlikely, as the artifact
in question has little value, we cannot rule
it out at this time.” The investigations
continue and now work is underway to
change the exhibit in order to compensate
for the missing items.
