VarItrans OPERATING INSTRuCTIONS COMPACTLINE/METALLINE
releasing a sliding passdoor element (optional – CompactLine only)1. Check to ensure that the passdoor lock is disengaged;
if not, unlock.2. Fully wind in the top lock socket by turning clockwise with
the crank. In order to ensure that the top interior (concealed) passdoor catch can gently engage, the passdoor leaf must be in its closed position. This ensures that the glass passdoor is held in the top profile.
3. Now retract the bottom floor bolt from the floor socket. Fully retract the floor bolt in order to ensure that, when sliding the panels, there is no contact with other floor sockets.
Manual crank operating advisory: The mechanism features an easy-action thread. The crank
should continue to be rotated until the screw element reaches its mechanical limit, but without any tightening action. This will avoid problems with opening or closing the passdoor.
sliding the operable passdoor element
2. CLOSING THE PARTITION—Positioning the fullwall element
Slowly move the element from the parking zone to the concave wall abutment end.CompactLine: Engage the floor bolt fully into the socket.
MetalLine: Pull the floor bolt knob slightly towards you (1) and then engage fully into the socket (2). The bolt is then latched in its secure position.
