• Growers Packinghouse long distance:

- product inspection goverment
- handling process (weighting / build up etc )
Logistical Issues
• Problems in the logistic chain cause:
- Damaged boxes/packaging
- Bad quality fruit & vegetables
- Around 10% Waste (difficult claim process)
Consequences
• Improve the skills of the staff at the packinghouse
• Proper and strong packaging material (solid board)
• Search for the solutions to shorten the distance between growers and
packinghouse incl transport to the airport (driving overnight)
• Quickly checking process / speed up process at the airport
• Continu coolchain from exportcentre to final destination
