DIRECTOR´S NOTEThisisafilmaboutunconditionallove,fromtheviewpointofacharacterwhosedesperateneedforit,ispushedtothelimitsoftheabsurd.Aliceisthefailedprojectofamotherwho,becauseshewasunabletohaveachildofherown,adoptedacharminglittlegirl,whothenturnedintoanimpertinentandratheruglyteenager,acompulsiveliarwhoseemstobenothingmorethananendlesssourceofproblems.Affectedbythespectreofthisfailure,Aliceactswithherback to thewall; sheconstantlynegotiatesher importancewithin thefamilyandwithinherpeergroup,exploitingtheweaknessesofthosearoundher,fictionalisingherexistencetothepointwherethefictionbecomesrealtoher.

ALICE T.DIRECTORS’BIOGRAPHYRadu Muntean was born on the 08thof July 1971 in Bucharest, Romania. Hegraduatedat theRomanianTheatre andFilmAcademy–theFilmDirectingsectionin 1994, and started teaching there fiveyearslater.
His feature debut, “Rage” (2003), wasscreened in numerous international filmfestivalsandreceivedtheBestDebutfilmawardbyTheRomanianCineastesUnion,and the Best Photography Award (ViviDrăganVasile)atTransilvaniaInternationalFilmFestival.
