In order to have a more rat ional and
methodical maintenance of the structures
t h e A l g a p o t b e a r i n g s c a n b e e a s i l y
provided with devices to measure bearing
reactions. Moreover they can be arranged
for adjustment of the structures.
This procedure has already been applied
to several bearings with reaction up to
6,000 tons and altitude level settlements by
i n j e c t i o n o f a s p e c i a l s i l i c o n re s i n
correction up to 50 mm.
Al l the Algapot s l id ing bear ings are
provided with PTFE lubricated by silicon
grease.
The grease is retained into special dimples
on the PTFE sur face and i t keeps i t s
effectiveness at a distance of some ten-
year periods.
If the bearings are subject to very big
movements it is advisable to re-fill in the
silicon grease periodically.

Propratni koncept se uglavnom sastoji u gumenom disku (1), kompletno ubaenom u elini ram lonastog oblika koji se sastoji izeline osnove (2) sa lonastim seditem koje sadri gumeni disk i elinog poklopca (3)izboenog s malom tolerancijom unutar lonca.
Gumeni disk doputa potpunu rotaciju u bilokom pravcu izmeu osnove lonca i poklopcai moe se preuzeti vertikalno optereenje saneznatnim deformacijama.Gumeni disk u loncu leita izloen je uniformnom triaksijalnom pritisku. Njegovo ponaanje je isto kao i ponaanje nestiljive tenosti u cilindru. Horizontalne sile se direktno prenose sa poklopca na osnovu lonca leita.
Slina prethodnim sa dodatnim gornjim teflonskim diskom (4) i jednom elinomkliznom ploom (5) sa ploom od nerajuegelika (6) koja pokriva donju povrinu takoda su omoguena horizontalna pomeranjau bilo kom pravcu.
Ona su takoe slina prethodnim sa dodatnomvoicom (7) koja odreuje pravac pomeranja leitai preuzima horizontalne sile upravne na nju.

Design concept is mainly given by a rubber disk (1)
AlgapotPNu -Sliding guided bearings
completely enclosed into a steel pot shaped frame formedby a steel basement (2) with pot shaped seat fitting therubber disk and by a steel lid (3) protruding with a smalltolerance inside the pot.The rubber disk allows mutual rotation in any directionbetween pot basement and lid and can support verticalloads with negligible deformation.The rubber disk into the pot is subjected to uniform three-axial pressure and into behaviour is the same of anincompressible liquid inside a cylinder.The horizontal forces are directly transmitted from the lidto the pot basement.
They are similar to the previous ones with an additionalupper PTFE disk (4) and an additional sliding steel plate(5) with stainless steel plate (6) covering the lower surface,so that horizontal movements in any direction are allowed.
They are similar to the previous ones with an additionalguide (7) which defines the direction of the movement andsupports horizontal forces perpendicular to itself
