Required training
You must have a Bachelors Degree in aerospace or something related to aerospace.
You should be in chemistry, physics, and math, including algebra, trigonometry, and calculus your high school years. You will use the skills you learned in high school for trouble shooting and problem solving.

Aero Space Engineer job
Aerospace Project Engineer or Mechanical Engineer
Growing Aerospace company needs a Sr Project Engineer to be responsible for project design (i.e. gather specifications, coordinate with departments for testing, manufacturing, certification and technical documentation). Will produce innovative, intelligent designs (models & drawings) for on-site production in a timely manner with respect to the project schedule, while optimizing ease of manufacturing, cost, weight and function. Will be responsible for assigning work to those engineers that he/she is supervising.
Requirements:
Education: BS in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of Engineering experience
Computer Skills: MS Office Suite., MS Windows, AutoCAD, Catia V5
Other Skills: Understanding of aircraft trim and finish practices, basics of airworthiness requirements for passenger aircraft, and mechanical systems and strengths of materials. Composite experience is a plus.
