AD Horn étrier and stripline taskforce - WDP and planning
preparationMC
Taskforce brainstorming meeting #220th February 2014
Updates
Visit in B195 w/ ABT to check feasibility of the test bench Contacts with MEF to integrate the test bench Contacts with CV for the compressed air cooling Do we have all pieces for the test bench?
Removed the horn + stripline from the 2nd spare chariot (ok) Realized that the chariot and the horn have a “different”
design with respect to what in the target area Alignment of horn chariot with SU performed
Potentiometer calibrated for the alignment in the target area HE performed several (successful) handling tests in B232
(thanks JLG, YS, PB) Spare chariot is now on concrete blocks for inspection
Thermocouples + étrier
Points to be discussed WDP preparation in order to assess the DIMR level
Further discussions tomorrow with HE and RP RP feedback
Robert/Gerald? First draft of the planning for the intervention to be
presented tomorrow at LSC (see later) Etrier kinematics studies
To be studied tomorrow/next week with Ray Can we measure the pressure when étrier is closed?
Spare parts availability in view of the test bench in B195 and associated preparation (MME) Planning/possibilities/drawings availability? Can we start by producing a new junction box and stripline?
MEF contacted for integration of the test bench
Budget (do we need specific items?) HE, ABT, MME (spares + timeline?), MEF for
integration The AD-target consolidation presently available for
2014 was not foreseeing a specific budget for this event…

It assumes the spare junction box is found The planning assumes that the “spare” horn can be qualified for operation Production time to be assessed in detail (just a guess here)?
