Job Title: Apprentice Stonemason
Apprenticeships on offer: 6 (St Mary’s would like to give 2 of these places to care experienced young people)
Training: Four year apprenticeship, linking with Edinburgh College.
Placement: Will spend some time out on placement on construction sites in Edinburgh during their apprenticeship which will give them good experience of all sorts of stonemasonry work.
Age requirement: All candidates should be aged between 16-19.
Qualifications: No formal requirements, although applicants should have basic numeracy and literacy skills and drawing/artistic interests.
