85th anniversary
Beatles
tribute act
on the way By Eric Schmiedl
One of the nation’s biggest tribute acts is
coming to the Woodstock Moose Lodge as
part of the centerpiece of the lodge’s 85th
anniversary this fall.
“It’ll be big,” lodge Governor Al Mackay
said of the arrival of the Liverpool 4 at the
lodge on Saturday, Oct. 7.
The Liverpool 4 bill themselves as “Can-
ada’s Beatles Band” and “North America’s
Tribute to the Beatles” on their website.

Greetings, Brothers and co-workers. As most
of you know there have been changes at our
Lodge. I am now the administrator and I will
be in charge of the bills, banking and all
forms and reports to Moose International.
Brother Al Mackay is governor for the 2017-
18 Moose year. He is also the social quarters
manager and will look after all bookings, the
bar stock and other duties involving the social quarters.
This is a big step for the Lodge and we ask for your sup-
port and patience to make this work.
Please come out to the regular membership gatherings
on the second Tuesday of every month to express your
ideas to make this Lodge one of Ontario’s best. By the
way, thanks to all the volunteers who have worked on the
flower beds at the front of the Lodge recently. Your ef-
forts are much appreciated.
