Medicine is seen as an important weapon for treating human diseases. Medicines save tens of millions of patients’ lives every year. However, because of hyper medication, which means dosages that exceed acceptable levels in the human body, adverse drug reactions also cause millions of medically-induced diseases every year. Economic and social disparity is quite apparent in third world countries. There is gap between the rich and poor people. There are some poor people without access to education, whereas others in the same country have access to education and are able to be successful in business and other lucrative fields. Many people know forensic science only through the media, principally TV shows such as CSI. Others see something on the news, or possibly have relatives in law enforcement.
