Our Initial Thoughts about Remote Learning
● It needs to be better than the DLP this past spring.● Live direct instruction must occur more often and consistently. ● Families need to be contacted more often.● Subject areas need to collaborate more
often and be more consistent.● While it is not ideal, we are confident that
we will rise to the occasion. ● Our students deserve the highest quality

Beginning (20%)All classes will begin with live instruction. During this part of class, students are encouraged to have cameras on and expected to follow the Student Remote Learning Expectations. Attendance will be taken at this time. Alternate attendance procedures will be used for students and families unable to attend live sessions.
Middle (70%)Students will be expected to remain online during this part of class, but videos & audio will be optional at this point. The middle of class will be a mixture of independent work, group work, small group work, watching recorded instructional videos, completing assignments, etc.
End (10%)Classes will regroup with a live session to end the period. Students are encouraged to have cameras on and expected to follow the Student Remote Learning Expectations.
