Bailey’s Quilt Here’s a great
way to learn all
about quilt mak-

will look great in
any combina-
tion of fabrics
you choose.
You’ll start right
at the beginning
learning rotary
cutting, accurate seaming, block con-
struction, quilt assembly, and settings
and borders. At the end of class, you’ll
have your quilt top done and ready for
quilting. Requires pattern. Instructor: Ro,

iniscent of a traditional log cabin block,
but with an updated feel. Set them on
point with side triangles in your choice of
sizes. Requires pattern. Instructor: Kim,

Ahhhh….SPA
Every quilter’s dream is to spend an
uninterrupted day devoted just to
quilting, and we’ve devised a way to
give you just that. Our Day at the
Quilting Spa has become a perennial
favorite and it is back this year with
another new mystery quilt from Deb-
bie Caffrey.
Envision a day when you set up your
work area and begin to sew. Before
long someone offers you coffee, or
maybe tea. At noon, enjoy your own
bag lunch while you take a break and
chat with some friends, whether old
or new.
Back to work, but who wants to face
ripping out that mistake? Don’t worry,
we’ll have it all fixed for you. Light
refreshments are ready in the after-
noon, and by the time you’re ready to
leave you’ll be well on your way to a
finished quilt top.
The best part? Purchase your fabrics
for the quilt at Pennington Quilt
Works, and your Day at the Quilting
Spa is free!! The pattern, snacks,
drinks, and any help you need is on
us.
When you register for the Spa, you’ll
be given a supply list and some prep-
aration instructions. Bring everything
on your spa day and we’ll provide the
rest of the directions, step by step, at
the pace you’d like.

Private Class
For times when a regularly scheduled
class just won’t do, we offer private
classes to fill the void. Let’s say that a
class you're interested in requires rota-
ry skills, and you’re still snipping along
with scissors. Well a 1-hour private
class will bring you up to speed. Or say
that you really want to get the hang of
paper-piecing or some other skill. Or
maybe our classes just don’t fit in your
schedule. Talk to any one of us and
we’ll find you the right person at the
right time to teach you what you need
to know. $25 per hour per person.
Policy for class registration
You must pay for a class in full in order
to receive the class supplies list and to
reserve your place. You may register
by phone, on line, or in the store. If you
need to cancel, please do so at least
10 days prior to the first class in order
to receive a full refund. If an emergen-
cy arises and you cancel less than 10
days before the first class, but at least
one day before, a class certificate will
be issued. Please use this for emergen-
cies only as late cancellations can be
problems for us. All books and patterns
and some special tools required for a
class can be purchased at a 20% dis-
count after paid registration. Check
that class enrollment minimums have
been met before purchasing supplies.
