Youth Business Interna-onal (YBI) � YBI is a global network of independent non-‐profit ini@a@ves (youth
entrepreneurship support programmes) opera@ng in 46 countries around the world
� Founded by the Prince of Wales as a Programme of the Interna@onal Business Leaders Forum. Became an independent charity in 2006;
� We support disadvantaged young entrepreneurs (aged 18-‐35) to access the support they need to start and grow a business in order to create jobs, build communi@es and transform lives
� Focused on those above subsistence level but without access to finance and other key support
� Everywhere we work our support model is adapted to suit local needs and opportuni-es in each country

YBR � Goal: To s@mulate entrepreneurship in Russia amongst young people.
� Approach: Provision of complex support (training/consultancy, funding and mentoring).
� Philosophy of partnerships: We use cross-‐sector partnerships (public, private and NGOs) as a core for delivery the program in the Russian regions.

History of Youth Business Russia
� Founded in 2008 as a joint project of IBLF, Oxfam and Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS);
� By now opera@ng in 8 regions across Russia;

� Crea@ng around 30 new businesses in each region annually;
� Every new business creates 3-‐4 jobs.
