Pregnancy closely associated with anemia, where thecondition of mothers with Hb under 11gr% on 1st and 3rd trimester or Hb levels below 10.5 g% intrimester 2. The limit value and the difference with non-pregnant condition occurs because hemodilusi.Knowledge, attitudes and actions of pregnant women in preventing anemia during pregnancy is one of thefactors that influence incidence of anemia which affects the health of babies. Lack of knowledge about theprevention of anemia can lead to attitudes and inappropriate actions in reduce the incidence of anemia.This research aims to influence counseling on knowledge, attitudes, actions pregnant women about theprevention of anemia during pregnancy.This research design using pre-experimental one grouppretest-posttest. Population of this study was all pregnant women in Mrs. Wolita midwife practicessurabaya, for as many as 30 people a mounth. Sampling techniques of this study is simple random samplingas many as 28 people. Independent variable of this study is to counseling, while the dependennya variableis knowledge, attitudes and actions.
