“Asian markets and e-commerce represent an amazing opportunity for Brauer which expects 70 per cent of sales to come from these markets by 2021.Since my return from INSEAD in March 2016, Brauer’s workforce has grown by 50% to 75, mostly at Tanunda and we are investing 12 per cent of sales into R&D, supporting our recent launch of baby and children’s vitamins. We now export to Hong Kong and Vietnam and our $1.3m in China sales in the past two months should put Brauer on a trajectory to double sales this year.“

Lessons learnt from Berkeley showed us a new direction on managing existing product improvements and a more planned approach to new product launches. I am grateful to the ILF for encouraging me to look at my own development. It was one of the most rewarding experiences for me and for the business.”

HOW THE ILF SUPPORTS APPLICANTS
APPLICATION CLOSING DATE FOR 2018

Supporting talented employees to apply for an ILF grant can provide a significant benefit to an employer’s training structure.ILF CEO, Geoff Vogt, will meet employers and their employees to explain and clarify how the ILF grant program operates and how applicants can improve their prospects of submitting a successful application.
In addition, Geoff is happy to address industry functions to explain the ILF in general, and he can arrange for ILF Scholars to speak at functions or to groups of people. This is often very constructive because they can explain the process, their reasons for applying and the benefits from their personal point of view.
