• AutonomousRacerTheGoal:buildadriverlessvehiclethatcanreachthefinishlinethefastestwithoutelectricity.

• TransporterThe Goal: Use a flying drone tocomplete the course and accomplishthe objective.

• Contribute $1250 towards sponsorship of one high school robotics team.

• Identify at least one company representative to meet monthly with a highschool team to assist with competition preparation.

• Participate in the January Networking event and the April Robotics competition.

SEPTEMBER:Schoolresumesandallapplicationsaredueforparticipation.CoachesClinicforteacherswillbeheldonThursday9/24atRichEastHighSchoolinParkForesttosharebestpracticesamongtheroboticscoachesandpreparefortheupcomingseason.Companyrepresentativesarewelcometoattendthisevent.

OCTOBER:ManufacturingDayon10/1whereschoolstourtheirsponsoringcompanies.InitialmeetingsarecoordinatedbetweenHighSchoolsandcompanies.

JANUARY:Showcase/Networkingevent atPrairieStateCollegewherestudentsdemonstratewhatthey’velearnedinroboticsandengineeringandhaveanopportunitytonetworkwithallsponsoringbusinessrepresentatives. Date TBA

APRIL:RoboticsCompetitioneventheldon4/25atSouthSuburbanCollegewhereallteamscompeteinatleastonecompetitionevents.Topthreewinnersidentifiedineachcategoryaswellasotherperformanceawards.

All interested companies are required to complete this registration form and return to Mark Kramer at [email protected]. All sponsoring companies will provide $1,250 to each team for the cost of supplies and materials and to cover some expenses of the competition event. Companies also expect to meet monthly with each team. All registration forms are to be completed and returned no later that October 28th
