PULL QUOTE.

A pull quote is a part separate to the article in bigger writing and is a quote from the interviewee and is used to pull the audience into the article tempting them to read it. It is usually positioned close or on the main image because it is what people who flick through the magazine will see and therefore see this pull quote and will make them want to know more about the artist in question.

MAIN IMAGEThe main image is on one side of the page and conventionally bleeds over a little onto the other. They use relevant mise-en-scene in the image for example in a rock magazine instruments like guitars ad drums to appeal to the audience. The clothing must be appropriate like using in rap music sun glasses and necklaces are used.
