    1. Usage

    Dosing device is a kind of integration of equipment that a including

    dosing, mixing liquid, conveying liquid, automatic control. It is

    widely used in the powder plant raw water, boiler water, oil groundgathering dehydration processing systems, various petrochemical

    dosing system and wastewater treatment systems. Doing including

    coagulant, pH solution, phosphate, liquid ammonia, lime, oxidants,

    reducing agents, water stabilizer (inhibitor), inhibitor, liquid

    insecticides.

    4. Preparation before installation.

    a. check all parts are in set (including valves, fittings, etc.), if there

    are some parts damaged during the transportation? You need to

    adjust and repair.

    b. check the civil dimensions and embedded parts meet the

    requirements, and the install location is correct.

    5. Installation and commissioning of the equipment

    a. Lift the equipment according to the drawings, adjusted to a

    proper position and then fixed.

    b. Install the inlet and outlet pipe according to the drawings one by

    one, and make sure the pipe connection are sealing well and not

    leak, the valve can be operated easily.

    c. Install the metering device (metering pump) in the right place,

    Install the inlet and outlet pipe according to the drawings and makesure they are in the right connection.

    d. Inject water to the dissolving tank and check that if there is any

    leak in the pipe connection place, and solved in time.

    e. Start power motor of the the mixer for test running 2 to 4 hours,

    check if is any abnormal, and then put into use.

    f. check the motor and gear reducer are overheating or other

    anomalies

    6. Usage and maintenance

    a. the liquid configuration:

    1.) Put appropriate amount of dosage pharmacy to the dissolving

    tank, open valve and inject a certain amount of water, and Maintain

    the liquid level in the normal range.

    2.) Open the mixer, and make sure the dosage pharmacy and water

    are fully dissolved the mixed, then turn off the mixer. Open theoutlet valve of dissolving tank and let the mixed liquid inject to the

    storage tank.

    b. Adjust the flow speed of the metering pump according to the

    needs. Then open the metering pump, you can get the quantitative

    dosing liquid as requirements.

    c. Check if there is any deposit sediment in the dissolving tank and

    storage tank, and take it out in time for preventing block thepipeline.

    d. Read the instructions before using the metering pumps. You

    should make sure that the pressure gauge has been installed on the

    outlet pipe of the metering pump, and make sure the output

    pressure of the metering pump at its rated pressure, this will make

    the measurement was accurate and reliable.

    e. Check the bolts and nuts, piping and valves often, to make sure

    there is no loose and leak, and solve them in time.

    Operate Manual of dosing system

    1. System Starting

    1.1 Check the electrical control cabinet and the pump power is

    turned on, and all the devices are in good condition.

    1.2 When solution tank running in the low level, the metering pump

    should be stopped.

    2 Metering pump start and stop.

    2.1 There should be clear and no other goods around the pump.2.2 Make sure that the connection screws of the flywheel and

    anchor bolts are well fixed, operating the flywheel by hand, it should

    be move smoothly.

    2.3 The lubricant need to be clear and the height should be 1/3 of

    the bearing diameter.

    2.4 Make sure the drug are enough in the solution tank.

    2.5 Open the inlet and outlet valve of the pump. (Note: Usually,

    the valve of the bottom of the solution tank are open,

    except pipe system maintenance)

    3 Metering pump start

    3.1 Check the motor power is turned on, and then start the

    motor. (WARNING: 1 the motor reverse run will damage the

    pump and motor, which does not belongto the scope of warranty. Do not forget to landing the pump

    and equipment.

    2 Make sure that the power parameters are in accordance

    with the pump motor nameplate parameters, connect the

    electric wire according to the electrical wiring diagram and

    operation manual3 before running the pump, Check the motor rotation

    before running the pump, make sure it is the same direction

    with the arrow of motor mounting flange.)

    3.2 After the pump is operating normally, you can adjust the pump

    output to achieve the required flow.

    4 Metering pump stop

    4.1 Stop the motor.

    4.2 When the pump is under repair, close the inlet and outlet of

    valves of the pump, and Isolate power supply, hang dangerous

    nameplate.

    5The standby pump start and stop.

    5.1 Open the inlet valve of standby pump, switch to contact of thedosing unit.

    5.2 Check the motor power, and start the motor.

    5.3 After the standby pump is operating normally, stop the main

    pump and you can adjust the pump output to achieve the required

    flow.

    6 Drug preparation

    6.1 Open the water inlet valve of the solution tank, and turn of the

    valve when water level achieve to 1/2 of the solution tank.

    6.2 Open the drug inlet valve of the solution tank, inject drugs to

    the solution tank and start the mixer. And stop running when the

    drug is completely dissolved.

    System operation and maintenance.

    1 Check the system running regularly, and should increase

    inspection times if equipment failure happens

    2 Closely monitor the dose of the drug, make sure automatic

    dosing equipment are in normal operation.

    3 Add the drugs timely when the solution tank liquid are in low

    level.

    4 Before start the dosing pumps, you need to open the inlet and

    outlet valve first. Before closing the inlet and outlet valves, you

    need to stop the dosing pumps first, this can avoid to damage

    dosing pump.

    5 Shutdown the pump immediately if it our of order, and start the

    standby pump.

    6the operator should wear the necessary labor protection supplies

    in operation, to prevent splashing into eyes.
