1.1 DESCRIPTION
The Auto Jetwet 200T Package is a fully self contained unit which provides both mixing and storage tanks on the one skid mounted frame. The unit requires only connection of power and water services and is designed to ensure complete dispersion and dissolution of solid grade anionic flocculants in water without the formation of lumps. The whole process can be controlled either manually or automatically by PLC.
1.2 DUTY
The Auto Jetwet200T Package is capable of preparing 3,000 litres per hour of solution at up to 0.5% w/v concentration (depending on the molecular weight of the polymer).
Storage tank Capacity 6,000 litres.
1.3 OPERATION PRINCIPLE
Solid grade anionic flocculant is fed from a storage hopper via an adjustable rate, volumetric screw feeder into an air stream from a blower. Air conveys the anionic flocculant via the "Jetwet" dispersion head into the agitated tank. After complete dissolution the anionic flocculant solution is transferred by gravity into the storage tank. Sequence control is by level probes and timers.

2.1 HARDWARE
PLC PLC Type : SIEMENS 226
Power Supply : Internal to PLC.
Communication: RS232 Direct communication with TD200 Operator Interface. It expands RS232 communication interface and makes it convenient to have long-distance communication with the central control room. Operator Interface

System operation in AUTO is defined by seven (7) operational states. Advancement
between states is unidirectional and dependent upon specific criteria being met.
e.g. If in State 3 (Filling and Mixing) the system must have advanced only from State 3
and must then advance only to State 4 (Mixing Only) after the Mixing Tank level reaches
probe E3.
The States are latching and memory retentive even after a complete power supply
interruption. Upon power up, the system will automatically resume from its previous State.
The Feeder and Agitator timers in the PLC are retentive, hence resume only for any time
remaining after a power supply or operator interruption. This prevents the mixing of a
double strength solution after the powder addition cycle has commenced.

2.3 OPERATOR INTERFACE
Panel Components
The following sections explain the operation of each component accessible by the Operator.
Main Switch
Isolates the incoming 380 Vac supply for the entire system, including all electrical components located on the Bulk Powder Hopper (if included) and Storage Tank
The switch is padlockable in the OFF position and equipped with a door interlock to prevent opening of the inner door with the switch in the ON position.

Manual: Allows manual operation of the system using the Manual Operation Screens on the TD200.
Note that in Manual all interlocks are bypassed and the Operator has full control. The function of each motor and solenoid should be fully understood before manual operations are attempted.
Off: Used for normal sequence interruptions and for resetting faults.
To reset a fault condition (Fault Lamp lit) the fault must first be rectified (e.g. reset Thermal Overload) and then the Duty Selector Switch must be turned to the OFF position. This will reset the fault and allow operation to continue. Auto: Allows automatic sequence operation of the system, and is the most common
operating mode.
Note that motors can start automatically when this mode is selected.
If the system has been previously used in MANUAL ensure that the Mixing Tank is empty and ready for AUTO batching from State 1 otherwise incorrect sequencing may result.
Emergency Stop Pushbutton
Latching Pushbutton (Twist to release) provided for emergency shutdown of all motors and solenoids. Operation of the pushbutton disconnects the control power from all contactors, solenoids and relays. A separate contact allows the pushbutton status to be monitored by the PLC.
Fault Indication Lamp
The amber lamp alerts the operator that a fault condition is present.
The Duty Selector Switch must be turned to the OFF position to reset the fault lamp. Refer to Duty Selector Switch operation for details.
2.4 IEMENS TD200 OPERATOR INTERFACE
The SIEMENS TD200 Operator Interface provides an interface to the PLC and facilities to allow the Operator to:

Screen Jog Allows the Operator to jog between screens in each menu. Time can be set up from Screen 4.

MENU Main Menu
Allows the Operator to return to the Main Menu Screen (Screen 1). OSCILLATION PTY LTD will be displayed on the Main Menu and the next menu can be entered by pressing or Key. TD200 SCREENS
The Screens are divided into four main sections
Section 1 - Home Page Screen: Display OSCILLATION PTY LTD. Press key will enter next Parameter setup screens.

Switch Auto/Manual selector to Manual before any operation from this Screen, or there will be no function. This screen is mainly used for manual operation or testing. The above screen shows setup of mixing time and feeding time. The cursor on the selected parameter will flash,
press or can alter the selected parameter and then press to confirm. After confirmation the cursor will move to the next parameter. After the selected parameter is altered, press to confirm otherwise the alternation will not be valid. Two parameters will show on each page and press to enter the next page. After completing all the setup, retreat to
sub-menu by pressing and return to home page by pressing again.
