Don’t Just Chase Symptoms, Correct the CAUSE of Arthritis!

You’ve seen dozens of ads for products … or for drugs … that are all supposed to “Reduce arthritis pain!”

Instead of reducing arthritis pain AFTER it has

already come and gets worse, year after year,

you want to attack the problem that’s the

ROOT CAUSE of the arthritis so there’s no

arthritis pain to treat! Wouldn’t you agree?

The first problem that vexes us all is the

unfortunate medical implication in the way

doctors use the term “arthritis.” The truth

is … arthritis is NOT a disease!

It never has been and it never will be! Ever

… under any circumstance … regardless of

what any misguided doctor of any

discipline tries to tell you… even if it’s a

rheumatologist!

Arthritis is a medical term made of two

root words – “arthro” which means

joint. And “itis” which means sore,

inflamed or irritated.

This is exactly why arthritis isn’t a disease.

It’s only a description of a symptom!

That’s all! Arthritis is a term that just

means “sore joint” in a different language.

So, you go to the doctor and you say,

“Gosh, Doc. My knee hurts or my

back hurts.” The doctor asks you

some questions, just to make sure it

actually is a sore joint.

Then the doctor tells you exactly the

same thing you just said, but in Latin –

“You have arthritis!” You said it in

English. The doctor repeated it right back

to you, but in medical-speak.

Then the doctor does what doctors do.

He or she prescribes something to dull the

pain … because you both agree that

you’re experiencing pain.

But there’s absolutely nothing the drug …

or the herb … or the salve … or the

cream … can do to stop what’s actually

causing the pain.

So you’ll have to use that prescription

forever… always with temporary relief

only!

And because you only treat the

symptom, it WILL get worse over

time, as it continues to degenerate,

so you’ll need to use it more and

more often and you’ll need to use

more and more of it.

Why? Because arthritis isn’t a disease … it’s a symptom!

Now, you might remember that your

doctor showed you a picture where

cartilage was thinning and there

were bone spurs around the joint.

The doc pointed to the X-ray and said,

“See. You have arthritis,” as if it were

actually possible to SEE pain in a joint –

arthritis.

The thinning cartilage and bone spurs were real, but that wasn’t the arthritis!

That’s because arthritis is a symptom,

just like the thinning cartilage and bone

spurs are symptoms.

The condition that’s causing the pain

is the same condition that’s causing

the joint degeneration.

And arthritis is just a description of ONE

part of that entire complex … the “sore”

part.

So the obvious question is: What causes the

degeneration and what causes the joint to

hurt? Answer this question and you have the

secret to treating the root cause of arthritis –

osteoarthritis to be specific.

Let’s qualify that.

Arthritis is just a word that describes joint

pain. But lots of things can cause joint pain.

That’s why any time you see the term

“arthritis” you should see another term in

front of it to understand why the joint is

sore.

Rheumatoid arthritis is joint pain caused by

a rheumatoid disease throughout the body.

The person’s immune system “thinks” that

the joint fluids are foreign bacteria or

viruses and it attacks them with a

vengeance.

In the process, it destroys the joint and

pain is the natural result. The rheumatoid

part of this is a disease process. The

arthritis part just describes sore joints.

In psoriatic arthritis, the patient suffers with

psoriasis … in the joint itself! The psoriasis

destroys the joint and it causes the joint to

hurt … arthritis. It’s joint pain caused by

psoriasis.

The one that’s considered the most

common arthritis condition is something

called “osteoarthritis.”

Let’s break that down. We know that

arthritis means what? … That’s

right… joint pain. So what does

“osteo” mean? It’s a suffix meaning

“bone.”

So putting the two terms together tells us

that the patient suffers joint pain due to …

bone? No disease process here! So what

is it about the bone that’s making the

joint sore? Well …

According to Wikipedia: “… mechanical

stress on joints underlies all osteoarthritis,

with many and varied sources of mechanical

stress, including misalignments of bones …”

According to researchers in the 1980’s,

“Misalignment at a skeletal joint can

increase the rate of wear by up to 7 times.”

According to medical texts,

“Osteoarthritis results from excess

wear at the joint.”

This paints the clearest possible picture of

the true nature of osteoarthritis!

Misalignments in joints create excess wear.

The excess wear results in osteoarthritis.

This process can happen in the spine or in

any other joint in the body!

So, what’s the most obvious way to correct

the root cause of the osteoarthritis problem?

It couldn’t be more obvious! Correct the

misalignments! When you remove

misalignments, you restore normal wear and

osteoarthritis doesn’t develop.

And depending on how long the joint has

been degenerating due to the

misalignment, it can be reversed! And

even if the degeneration can’t be

completely reversed, the arthritis … the

joint pain … can be reduced and even

eliminated in many cases.

In fact, this is exactly what chiropractors

have been doing since 1895!

But there are all kinds of chiropractors out

there. What’s the best way to go?

Any chiropractic care is better than none at

all. Every time, without exception! But the

most precision form of chiropractic we know

of is instrument adjusting. We think the

Activator Method is best … with the Impulse

Method a close second.

Find an Activator doctor at

www.activator.com

or an Impulse doctor at

www.goimpulse.com.

Here at Desert Rose Chiropractic and

Light Chiropractic we have one of the

few doctors in the country fully certified

in both techniques with 28 years’

experience in Activator, and holding only

the fourth full certification issued in

Arizona for the Impulse technique.

And we’re not the only ones who prefer instrument adjusting over traditional popping and cracking methods:• “I’m just amazed that this little

instrument made such a big difference in one day!” says A.S. of Phoenix

• “I was really skeptical the first time you adjusted me with that little thing,” says R.T. “But it works really well!”

• “I’ll never go back to that popping and cracking kind of chiropractic again!” says S.F. of Show Low

• “I’ve never been to a chiropractor that was so thorough before,” says D.H. of Phoenix.

• “Thanks for working on my thumb. My doctor told me it was arthritis and I’d just have to live with it. But I don’t have any more pain now,” reported C. H. of Phoenix.

• “The knee feels a lot better! Thanks. I didn’t know you could adjust knees,” said J. M. of Show Low.

You might experience similar relief with precision instrument adjusting delivered by our nationally recognized expert. It’s as easy as making a phone call.

But we still take it one step further. Low

level laser therapy is one of the best

documented new technologies in the past

decade for controlling and minimizing the

inflammation and irritation of arthritic

pain, and to accelerate the healing of

damaged tissue.

When we use laser therapy in conjunction

with precision instrument adjusting, we

accelerate the stabilization process far

beyond the capability of chiropractic

alone.

It’s all well and good to take pain killers for arthritis PAIN … a symptom … but you need to attack the CAUSE of that pain! Correct it at its source! TODAY! Don’t let osteoarthritis ruin your life even one more day!
