2. Upatoi Creak, which flows t:u-ough the ~ 'itd, will furnish abundant water supply within 3000 feat of the camp site.
3. Enclosed in~the report yQU will find several propositions from the Columbus Power Company relati're to f1Ol':niahing lights and pOWer from their plant located near Columbus. As this, however, is very expansive a.'ld as the personnel of the camp is amall, it ;8 ~~ opinion that a most satisfactorJ and :nere economica_ly constrncted lightT~angement wo"ld be a small local lighting uni t, delivery of which can be made within a. few weeks from data ordered.
4. You will al.o find in this report a letter from Chairman of the Board of County COmmissions, Muskogee County, Ga.., in Which he agrees to build a road approximately two mile~ in length from the BeunaVista. Road to reach ~, point selected by the United States Gov~rnment as a camp sita.
5. It is my opinion that the county has an organized force Which will., upon being informed that this has been officially selscted, be ordered to co~ence work at once.
6, The total esti~ted cost of this plant :9 3700,000, id~ailed estimate of Which is hereto attached.
7, You will note that page three of the proposal from tne Chamber of Commerce, ColumbUS, Ga. is omitted from this report owing to tr.e fact that it was not rea.dy When the writer left ColumbUS. This sheet should arrive daily, and I was assured that there would be no trouble 'Vi th the options .. vhich could oe aecured at a.n a.varage :?rice not exceeding $2.00 per acre.
