PlatformMy 11th-12th Human Anatomy & Physiology class will use the Apple-Google platform to receive instruction and a to complete assignments. Each student has a school district assigned Gmail account.

Blogger will be the tool used for students to discuss the topic of the day or topics of the week. Google Classroom will be used as the “doorway” to their “Class Scholar” learning.

Accommodations

Each student has an iPad assigned to them for the school year. iPads are issued within the first week of school and taken up the within the last three days of the school year. There are loaner iPads for students when their iPad is in repair so them do not miss instructional materials.

Student GroupStudent groups will vary in my class based in the given task. When students are in whole group for instruction, they will use their iPads individually to take notes as I lecture. Once direct instruction is complete, students will be allowed to work in groups not larger than four to complete case studies and research projects. Posts to Blogger will be an individual activity. Student activity on the iPad will be monitored using the LanSchool application for teachers.
