The emperor believed that thesefull-size clay soldiers would protect him in the next lifeafter he died. They've been brought to surface foreveryone to see, and have now come to the UK.

Wellington newsDentist visits KS1This week in ks1, they were visited by a dentist, who checked their teeth to see whether they were healthy or not. They were all really excited to see all of the dentist's equipment and have their teeth checked by an experienced dentist. Also before the dentist left, they were given extra information about how to maintaine a healthy mouth and clean teeth.

Jade class performed an assembly all about St. Patrick's day. In this assembly, they all dressed up in blue and green to represent the colours of St. Patrick. They discussed the story behind him and how people celebrate this day. It is celebrated on 17th march, when St Patrick died. They also mentioned his determination when he was captured and taken to Ireland.

UNICEF: Rights Respecting schoolIn KS1, they have also now elected all of theirUNICEF councilors. They can now help us winthe award. Ms. Flora and some other childrenhave been packing all of our donations for thebackpack appeal into backpacks that will betaken to poor places in Africa to help childrenin need.

We have now had our tea parties based on ourparticular books. Year 5&6 were lucky enoughto taste Year 6's delightful muffins that theymade during DT week.
