Cooperation Programme on "Economic

Subject Online Malaysian Technical

Diplomacy Course for International participants 2022 by Institute of

Diplomacy and Foreign Relation (IDFR), from 15th to 19th August,

2022.

The Republic of Malaysia has invited nominations for online course on "Economic

Diplomacy and Foreign Relation (IDFR), from l5th to 19th August, 2022 at

Malaysia under the Technical Assistance Programme with India. The programme is

intended for the mid-carrier/junior diplomats and government officials whose

eligibility conditions and other iníormation about the course are mentioned in the

Information Brochure received from the sponsoring Government (Annex-I). Number of

slots available for India is two.

2 Nomination of candidates is regulated by the guidelines prescribed by DEA, a

synopsis of which is attached as Annex-II.

The course is sponsored by Government of Malaysia, who will provide course

fees under the MTCP. All nominees are to submit their applications prescribed MTCP

HOW TO APPLY Fillingup of application forms3.

Ensure that tho DEA proforma is duly h:lled in and s complete in all respects. Without thus profoma,

appications will not be entertained.

Ensure that the application form prescribed by the sponsoring agency is also complete it all respects

Wherever the sponsorng agency asks for Country Report, the same should also be attached()

The column relating to Vigilance Clearance in DEA protorma should be fhlled in and certified by the

competent authority. Altemately, vigilance clearance certificate by the concened authority can also be attached Applicauons without vigilance clearance at the time of applying will not be entertained

In case of training programmes which are not fully sponsored and where expenses on Air tuavel or any

other expenses have to be borne by the candidate or his sponsoring Department, ensure that Part-A or Part B, as the case may be, of the Undertaking Form is duly completed Applications received without undertak1ng form wil be summarily rejected. It may be noted that submission of undertaking form is not necessary in

respect of fully funded training programmes and the candidate can mention 'Not Applicable' in the

Nominations: In case there is more than one nominalion for a particular course, the nornating authority State/Cenra Govemment should clearly indicate the prioritization of the nominees

Application for the trainung programme is to be forwarded through the concerned Ministry/Department aftecompleting all necessary formal1ties agency direct unles the same has been endorsed by the Nodal Department i.e DEA.
