SACRED HEART, the Parish with a Heart JUNE 13, 2021

Please pray for Marilyn Bedard. May she rest in

peace.

From Fr. PAul’s Desk: One of the soldiers pierced His side

with a lance; and immediately there came out blood and water—

John 19:34

The heart indicates the centre of a person and the symbol of

love. In the Heart of the Redeemer we adore God’s love for

humanity, His will for universal Salvation, and His infinite mercy.

The mystery of the Heart of Jesus is the mystery of Love. Jesus’

heart, aflame with infinite love, lavished on us His self-sacrificing

and unconditional love and forgiveness and regained for us the

status of the children of God. Let us keep in mind the 12 promises

of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

1 - I will give them all the graces necessary for their state of life.

2 - I will establish peace in their families.

3 - I will console them in all their trials.

4 - I will be their refuge in life and especially at the hour of death.

5 - I will abundantly bless all their undertakings.

6 - Sinners will find in my Heart the source and Infinite Ocean of

mercy.

7 - Lukewarm souls will become fervent.

8 - Fervent souls will rapidly grow in holiness and perfection.

9 - I will bless the places where the image of My Sacred Heart

will be exposed and venerated.

10 - I will give to priests the power to touch the most hardened

hearts.

11 - Those who propagate this devotion will have their names

eternally written in my Heart.

12 - In the excessive mercy of my Heart, I promise that my all

powerful love will grant to all those who will receive Communion

on the First Fridays of nine consecutive months the grace of final

repentance: they will not die in my displeasure, nor without

receiving the sacraments; and my Heart will be their secure refuge

in that last hour.

happy Feast Day to All sacred heart Catholic Church parishioners.

end of the age.” (Matthew 28:20) Consider giving your attention

Pope Francis’ prayer in a time of pandemicO Mary, you always shine on our path as a sign of salvation and

of hope. We entrust ourselves to you, Health of the Sick, who at

the cross took part in Jesus’ pain, keeping your faith firm.

You, Salvation of the Roman People, know what we need, and we

are sure you will provide so that, as in Cana of Galilee, we may

return to joy and to feasting after this time of trial.

Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform to the will of the

Father and to do as we are told by Jesus, who has taken umpon

himself our sufferings and carried our sorrows to lead us, through

the cross, to the joy of the resurrection.

Amen.

Under your protection, we seek refuge, Holy Mother of God Do

not disdain the entreaties of we who are in trial, but deliver us

from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin.
