This Record is compiled from information received from national health administrations, by WHO Headquarters Regional Offices at Alexandria and Washington, and the Epidemiological Intelligence Station at Singapore,
Notifications required under the International Sanitary Regulations and existing international sanitary agreements are, in respect o f quarantine mea» sures, vaccination and other items, published as received from reporting Governments even though the contents o f such notifications appear to be in excess o f the provisions o f that legislation. In the latter event, the attention o f the government concerned will be drawn to discrepancies.

De plus, ils doivent présenter un certificat attestant qu’ils ont passé au moins 3 jours en dehors d’une circonscription infectée avant leur atrivée en Arabie Saoudite *.
Saudi ArabiaCholera. — During the Pilgrimage season (27 February
1960 to 24 June 1960) all travellers arriving from cholera infected local areas or on pilgrim aircraft ate requited to possess a certificate showing 2 iiqections given at an interval of 7 days. Further, they must present a certificate that they have spent at least 5 days outside an infected local area before arrival in Saudi Arabia *.

(Genève-Frangiiis). uo Bulletin épi^ démiologique ra^télégrt^hique quotidien destiné aux administrations sanitaires» Ce bulletin contient les renseignements officiels reçus par l’OMS à Genève sur les cas de maladies quarantenaires, c'est-à-dire de peste^ choléra» fièvre jaune» variole» typhus et fièvre récurrente» constatés dans les ports et les aéroports (section une); sur les déclarations de circonscriptions infectée on redevenues indemnes (section deux); sur les cas de maladies quarantenaiies constatés dai» des localités autres que ports et aéroports (section trois); et enfin sur les Endémies de maladies non quarantenaires ayant un intérêt international suffisant (seràon quatre)»
Excepté le vendredi, jour où le texte du Bulletin épidémiologique radlotélé* grt^lüque quotidien de rO M S est renouvdé» les dernières informations» se terminant par «fin des d^n i^es informations»» sont données an commencement du message afin de permettre aux autorités sanitaires de recevoir le bulletin aux moindres frais. Quand il n 'y a pas de diangement, le mot « répétition » précède la section une du bulletin radiotélégraphique.

The World Health Organization, Geneva, transmits over the Radio Suisse S. A. wireless stations (Genève-Prangins)» a Btdiy Epidemiological Radio Bulletin destined for health administrations. This bulletin contains official information received by WHO in Geneva on the occurrence o f the quarantinable diseases» i.e.» plaguy cholera, yellow fever, smallpox, ^ h u s and relapsing fever, in ports and airports (section one); on declarations of areas as infected or free from infection (section two); on cases o f tiie quarantinable diseases in localities other than ports and airports (section three): and on outbreaks o f non-quarantinable diseases, if of sufficient international interest (section four).
Except on Fridays, when the text o f the Dmly ^idemiological Radio Bulletin o f WHO Is renewed, the latest information, followed by the words ** end of latest information", is given at the begioning of the message, in order to reduce the cost o f reception to health administrations. Whenever the text is not modified, the word "repetition" precedes section one o f the radio bulletin.
Health adminûtrations are urged to make arrangements for the rec^tion oi this daily message. Reports on conditions of reception, and any commmits and suggestions regarding the contents of the bulletin should bo communicated to the Section of Eiteniatiooal (Quarantine, WHO, Geneva (cable address: EnDNAnONS» Geneva).
