The furniture in Attic Heirlooms has been purposely distressed to create

an “antiqued” or “vintage-chic” look. Your furniture will have cracks, splits,

gouges, knots, knotholes, and uneven rubbed edges. These are not product

defects, but intentional distressing that gives each piece character and beauty.

It is this distressing that makes every piece of Attic Heirlooms unique.

Each tree has a different character. Nature molds the tree with differences in

color and grain . . . differences that relate the beauty and interest found in the

wood. Since these variations in texture and grain do affect the finish, it is

impossible to guarantee an exact match between two pieces of wood even

though identical finishing processes are used. These variations are not

defects, but variations that make each piece of furniture distinctive.

Construction Features: In selecting materials for the Attic Heirlooms collection, designers and engineers at Broyhill create products that use a combination of oak and other selected hardwood solids, oak and other hardwood veneers, and wood and/or simulated wood products. Certain parts, simulated wood carvings and/or other decorative embellishments may be made of simulated wood components.
